You should pay for parking if you are not a camper.

Overall it was a very nice place to visit and stay for one night. The location was nice along the river and near the dam. Our first time in an oTentik and we had site 6. Privacy was generally pretty good however it was right by the walking path but because there weren't too many people and the site beside us was empty, it was fine. The view was directly facing the dam and river so it was really nice. However if I could choose again, I would probably do site 5. It also pretty private facing the river, not as much the dam but then right beside it is more green space for kids to run around and it's slightly closer to the communal sink/dishwashing area and comfort station. What I didn't like was the BBQ being on the deck, as it took up a lot of sitting space and also it was kind of awkward walking up and down to bring the food to the picnic. But I suppose if you are eating inside the oTentik then it would be fine. The island itself is small and can be strolled around in 15-20 minutes. There is very a small wooded area with gravelly paths. The other thing I didn't like was that it wasn't a drive-on site so the car was on the other side of the water and if I forgot something in the car I would have to walk all the way back (about 5 mins). They do have cart/wagon things to bring your stuff around from the car though so that helps.

Very small park, camping is not separated from general visitors, no privacy.
